Hop Aboard the Delivering Happiness Bus!

Tony Hsieh is taking his book Delivering Happiness on the road! The entire Delivering Happiness team is headed on a three-month, 20+ city tour to deliver happiness across the nation.

“Starting this month, Tony and the the Delivering Happiness team will be heading on a 20+ city bus tour with one mission in mind: to Inspire and Be Inspired.

They’ll be driving cross-country, visiting colleges, companies and non-profits while throwing events, Delivering Happiness style. There will be town hall meetings, Q&As, book signings, BBQs and music along the way. They’ll be talking to people that have been inspired by the book and, in turn, have inspired them.

Even if you’re not physically on the bus, you can still hop on! Follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Ning, Dailybooth and YouTube, and meet up with them when they’re in your area. Or follow along by visiting their interactive map of real-time tweets about the tour. Engage with the team and read up on their travel journal, where they’ll be sharing summaries of their events and memorable moments of the day.

Picking up where they left off before the book launched, the team has started hosting Virtual Happy Hours again, weekly livestreams on the Delivering Happiness Ustream channel. They recently had Tony Hawk at their Bus Launch Party, so you know you’re in for some more special guests and Happy Hour banter throughout their tour.”

Duke and Coach K are The Gold Standard

Congratulations to Coach K and the Duke Blue Devils for their incredible win last night to take the NCAA Men’s basketball championship. This is Coach K’s fourth title and as ESPN writes today, he has now cemented his place among the coaching greats. His four national championships tie him for second with Adolph Rupp. Only John Wooden won more national titles, winning 10 at UCLA from 1964-75.

Coach K’s latest book, The Gold Standard: Building a World-Class Team, will be out in paperback on April 30.
